It's no secret that Seth Rogen has been a leading advocate for cannabis culture in and out of Canada for years. Nowadays, he's taking things up a notch, demanding the stigma around smoking pot finally go up in flames (pun intended).

In an interview with The Canadian Press yesterday, he admitted that he still doesn't find it socially acceptable to smoke weed, despite how normal it is to him.

"I smoke weed all day and every day and have for 20 years," he said, adding: "For me, it's like glasses or shoes — it's something I need to navigate my life."

It'd be nice if they served it in bars.

"People have tried to make me feel shame about it over the years or have tried to make me seem like I'm weak or stupid for integrating it so completely into my life," he said.

"But I'm almost 40 now, I'm married, I have a good job and I have just found that none of the stigmas I was told to be true are true."

"The beer industry has been enabled to thrive in a way that the cannabis industry has not right now and until they are the same, the black market will continue to thrive," he continued.

Back in summer 2019, Rogen's very own cannabis company, Houseplant, expanded into Ontario.

"It’s thrilling to be able to grow our company and give those in Ontario access to products that we are so proud of," he said in a statement at the time.
