Southern Ontario's weather forecast is so chaotic with spring vibes followed by possible snow
Why can't we have nice things? 😔

Southern Ontario's weather forecast is about to get chaotic (again).
Southern Ontario's latest weather forecast begins with optimism — but then snuffs it out almost instantly.
It's hard to believe that we're supposed to be in spring, as the weather in downtown Toronto brought snowfall on Thursday afternoon (April 10) and Friday morning (April 11). Temperatures remain much lower than usual for this time of year, with conditions feeling more typical of mid-March than early-April.
According to The Weather Network (TWN), it'll remain gloomy and wet for residents of Southern Ontario into Friday evening, with showers even "mixing with flakes" north of the 401.
But we're almost there... or are we?
If you're hoping to spend some time outdoors this weekend, you might want to hold off until Sunday. According to TWN, Southern Ontario is in for a bit of a weather divide. Saturday will start off mostly cloudy with sunny breaks throughout the day, mixed with the odd shower. Those located to the north and west of Toronto are particularly likely to see brighter spells.
There's also good news for those who've been feeling the cold, as TWN says temperatures on Saturday will increase by a few degrees, leaving conditions feeling a little closer to seasonal than they have been.
What's more, Sunday is looking even brighter — literally.
TWN expects sunshine to return for the second half of the weekend. Daytime highs are forecast to climb into the mid-to-upper teens across the region, with highs of 15 C in Windsor and Ottawa and 14 C in Toronto, Barrie, London and Peterborough. It'll finally feel like spring is making a proper appearance, so take advantage.
But with the good must come the bad news, and unfortunately, that taste of spring won't last very long.
After a relatively pleasant daytime, another cold front is expected to roll in on Monday night and into Tuesday morning. There's even a chance of passing snow on Wednesday, April 16, with forecasted highs of just 3 C in Toronto and Ottawa and 1 C in Barrie.
So yes, enjoy Sunday's good weather — but don't put your winter jacket away just yet!
