Whether it's a deep clean of the bathroom or kitchen, or cleaning up after your family or pets, you can't beat a hack to save you time while doing your chores.
Thankfully, plenty of people on TikTok are posting videos of ways they have discovered to clean their homes without spending a small fortune on cleaning products.
Below are seven hacks you can start incorporating into your next cleaning day.
Cleaning Your Pans Without The Hassle
Easy home trick 😳😳 #foryou #foryoupage #diy #ramdeeposahan
When a scrubbing sponge or wire wool pad won't work, pour salt and baking soda on to the stained bottom of the pan and then gently rub in dishwashing liquid.
Cover the mixture with paper towels and pour white vinegar over the paper towels. Leave the pan for two minutes to allow the vinegar to soak through to the pan. After two minutes, you should notice it's A LOT easier to remove that stubborn dirt from the bottom of the pan.
How To Get A Sparkling Sink
Our sink is now very shiny😍🧼 #sink #shiny #cleaningtiktok #cleaning #dishsoap #bakingsoda #cleaninghack #foryou
If your sink has become stained over the years, this is a great hack to get it back looking brand new. Mix baking soda and dishwashing liquid to make a paste. Then, brush the paste around the edges of the sink and clean it off gently with a scrubbing sponge.
The Hard To Reach Bits On Sliding Doors
How to clean sliding door tracks. ✨ #cleaningtips #howtoclean #cleaninghacks #cleaningtok
The awkward-to-reach parts of a sliding door can be a breeding ground for dirt and germs. Start by wrapping a squashed toilet paper roll over your vacuum nozzle to remove some of the larger particles. Then, use an old toothbrush and dishwashing liquid to remove some of the stubborn stains. Wrap the toothbrush in a cloth to dry the area and it looks as good as new.
Fixing A Gross Faucet

Next time you wash the dishes or clean your teeth, check how clean the area is where the water is coming from. If it's gross, wrap the faucet in a bag of vinegar for 30 minutes and then scrub it clean. It's seriously satisfying.
Getting Dog Hair Out Of Rugs
& that’s on getting dog hair out of area rugs. #GrowUpWithMe #JingleJangleWithMe #gocleanco #fyp #cleaningtiktok #cleaninghacks #foryou #foryoupage
Pet hair gets EVERYWHERE! You probably won't be surprised to learn that just vacuuming doesn't remove all the hair. However, try using a squeegee on your carpets and rugs next time to get a deeper clean. The result in the video above is pretty impressive.
Turning That Grout From Brown To White Again
Cleaning a very dirty grout! #fyp #cleaning #foryoupage #satisfying
Mouldy grout is disgusting but there's a simple trick to getting it back to a bright white colour. Use toilet cleaner along the grout lines and leave it for 10-15 minutes. You'll be able to see the dirt rising to the surface and use an old toothbrush to scrub it off more easily. You'll need a cloth to dry the area and remove the access cleaning liquid.
Descaling Your Kettle
Love a good hack! More details in comments #todayyearsold #cookinghacks #cleaninghacks #todayilearned
When was the last time you checked inside your kettle? There could be a build-up of scale accompanying your morning coffee. Chop up a lemon and place the slices inside the kettle. Add water and boil the kettle. The acidity in the lemon acts as a natural cleaning product to kill bacteria and clean the inner parts of the kettle.
