Canada's Top Jobs Were Just Revealed & You Don't Need A Degree For So Many

Brush off your resume, Canada!
Managing Editor, Canada

If you thought you might need a degree to land one of the top jobs in Canada, think again!

A new report from Randstad has revealed the top 15 jobs for Canadians ahead of 2021 and many of them don’t actually require any specific education to apply.

As part of their research, the global employment agency acknowledged that Canada is currently “healing from the massive impact of COVID-19.”

It noted that the world of work is starting to adapt in response to the new normal and said the future looks “good for most sectors.”

In particular, the company predicted that 2021 will be a great year for Canada's administrative assistants as the job took the number one spot on Randstad’s top 15 list.

In second and third place were customer service representatives and sales associates, with drivers taking the number four spot.

This was followed by accounts payable and receivable clerks, registered nurses, project managers and general labourers respectively.

Job roles also found on the list were welders, electrical engineers and software developers, as well as merchandisers and accountants.

In 14th and 15th place were HR managers and financial advisors.

According to Randstad, all of these jobs will continue to be essential roles in a post-pandemic workforce, with some becoming more important than ever when life begins to return to normal.
