The CN Tower is great and all, but real ones know that off the beaten path, you'll find all kinds of unusual Toronto landmarks that give our city its character.

The Leslieville Doll House

Is it creepy? Of course it is, which makes it all the more essential that you see it for yourself. If you're lucky, you may even spot Shirley Sumaiser, the owner of this famous east end home.

The Haunted Lighthouse

Legend has it that the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse is occupied by the ghost of its first keeper, who mysteriously disappeared back in 1815.

The Pasture

This could very well be the world's only country pasture surrounded by skyscrapers and with a Starbucks right across the street.

Location: 100 The PATH, Canadian Pacific Tower-Wellington, Toronto, ON

Giant Thimble

This sculpture pays tribute to the area's history as Toronto's garment district. Now that's what you call symbolism, or should we say thimbleism.
