Are you a Jay and Silent Bob fan? Do the words swag and pop-up shop grab your attention?

Even if just the idea of a new (and one-of-a-kind) Toronto food option for takeout piques your interest, then here's some pretty exciting news.

The very first Canadian pop-up of the popular fast-food joint Mooby's is finally coming to Toronto!

If you didn't already know, Mooby's is Kevin Smith's iconic (and once fictional) fast-food restaurant featured in cult classics including the Jay and Silent Bob franchise, Dogma, and Clerks II.

Smith even went as far as to help develop and craft the whole experience, ensuring it remained true to the beloved movies that Mooby's fans know so well.

The pop-up has been a hit in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New Jersey.

Now, Torontonians get to enjoy this unique experience too — thanks to SkipTheDishes and Kitchen Hub, Canada’s first Virtual Food Hall.

With a menu that brings original items from the movies, cooked by the popular Toronto spot, The Carbon Bar, the pop-up features Moo Mains, iconic items from the Jay and Silent Bob films including fan favourites like the Cow Tipper, Hater Totz, and vegan Beyond Cow Tipper.

As for the physical pop-up at 935 The Queensway, the whole setup will be absolutely COVID-friendly and done responsibly as a socially distanced, pick-up only experience.

This won't compromise your enjoyment of being transformed into the Mooby's world with authentic signage and memorabilia.

You can start picking up your delicious Mooby's meals on November 12 at Kitchen Hub’s Etobicoke location (935 The Queensway).

But, if you love the convenience of delivery, that's what the virtual pop-up on SkipTheDishes is for! Those living in Etobicoke or downtown Toronto can place their orders from November 26 to December 9.

A bonus with the SkipTheDishes virtual pop-up is that all orders will include branded Mooby’s packaging and memorabilia, for all you Jay and Silent Bob fans.

As if all of this wasn't exciting enough, SkipTheDishes is also running a one-week contest where you can win some pretty sweet branded Mooby's swag, an iPad with a message from Kevin Smith and, of course, a SkipTheDishes gift card.

Entering the contest is simple:

  • Be one of the first 50 people to enter the contest to receive a $10 SkipTheDishes gift card towards your Mooby’s app pop-up order.
  • 10 selected winners will receive an iPad, full Mooby’s menu, and more.
  • All prizes will be delivered to the selected winners in a contactless manner.
