Don't expect to find your Prince Charming at this castle visit. Toronto's dreamy palace might look like something from once upon a dream, but this fall, it's transforming into your biggest nightmare. You can wander through terrorizing hallways and paths at Casa Loma's Legends of Horror next month.
If you're looking to get spooked this season, then this haunted castle is the place to be.
Legends of Horror, presented by Captain Morgan, is an annual event hosted at Casa Loma.
The palace is transformed by creepy decor, actors, and projections to bring you the ultimate Halloween experience.
This year, the event is taking place from October 1 to 31.
The chilling adventure takes visitors on a one-hour, self-guided tour. You'll wander along a 2-kilometre trail which winds through the gardens and castle tunnels.
Along the way, you'll be met with theatrical interpretations of classic horror figures for a completely immersive experience.
The event will even take you to the darkest places in the castle that have never before been open to the public.
Who knows what sinister beings are lurking there?
The grand finale of the adventure involves haunting 3D imagery projected onto the castle's exterior walls.
This year, Legends of Horror is offering new Family Hours from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
This offers families and those of us who aren't so brave at heart to enjoy the experience while it's still light out.
There are also new safety protocols implemented for the event, including face masks, contact tracing, and social distancing.
Tickets go on sale on September 10 and start at $30 per person.
