Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara Are Opening This Week & Here's What To Know

Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara will on July 23, so if you've been itching to roll the dice or try your luck at the slot machines, you won't have to wait much longer.

Their return after over a year of closure will roll out in a "phased approach with limited amenities available at the onset to ensure a safe environment for all."

Richard Taylor, president of Niagara Casinos, said they are looking forward to welcoming back guests with health and safety as their top priority.

"We are incredibly grateful for the efforts and sacrifices everyone has made over the past sixteen months that have made it safe for us to reopen our doors."

What will their hours be?

Fallsview Casino Resort will be open all day and night, seven days a week.

Casino Niagara will be open every day from 10 a.m.to 2 a.m. However, guests won't be able to enter the casino after 1:15 a.m.

What amenities are opening?

Casino Niagara will open with access to the " [..] gaming floor, slots, electronic table games, Perks Café, and the Chill Bar."

However, table games and the poker room will be closed for the time being.

Fallsview Casino Resort will open with amenities like their " [...] hotel, gaming floor, slots, electronic table games, select dining establishments, the parking garage and Galleria shops and dining amenities."

Limited games tables will open on July 30, and all entertainment at both locations will remain closed until the province gives the go-ahead.

What COVID-19 precautions will be in place?

Masks and physical distancing will be enforced inside both establishments, along with contact tracing.

Transparent plastic partitions will be in place around the casinos to help implement physical distancing in addition to health screening tools like temperature kiosks.

Staff will receive COVID-19 health and safety training, and cleaning and disinfection rates of "high-touch surfaces" like bathrooms will be increased.
