Celebs Are All Over Ontario Right Now Filming Their New Shows & Movies (PHOTOS)

Zac Efron is starting fires in Burlington.

Ontario has been the filming destination of choice for so many shows and movies in recent years, and 2021 has been no exception. Dozens of famous actors have been spotted in Toronto and other parts of the province this year.

This summer is set to bring lots of celebrity sightings to the city, and many A-listers are already in town filming their newest projects, from superhero classics to Stephen King horror adaptations.

Zac Efron has been spotted on the set of his latest movie Firestarter, a sci-fi-meets-horror Stephen King-based film. Efron is quite literally burning up the streets of Hamilton and Burlington right now, and he posted a clip of it on Twitter.

Here's another behind-the-scenes shot of Efron's film that was shared on Twitter.

Jeremy Renner is all suited up for his new movie, Mayor of Kingstown. He was apparently just seen at the Lakeview Restaurant on Dundas Street W., so next time you're headed to Trinity Bellwoods Park, you may catch a glimpse of Hawkeye.

Jason Momoa has been busy in Toronto lately filming his latest Netflix film, Slumberland. Before you even ask, yes, he is wearing a head of horns, and no, we don't know how he pulls it off so well. Netflix tweeted that Slumberland is an adventure film set in a dream world, where Momoa plays the "eccentric outlaw."

The Boys are back in town filming season three of their wildly popular superhero show. They were last spotted in Yorkville, where Erin Moriarty had to be rescued by Toronto Fire. District Chief Stephen Powell told Narcity last week that the elevator became stuck and the two occupants had to be released, but EMS wasn't needed.

Elliot Page graced the set of The Umbrella Academy for the first time last week in Hamilton. Production is also reportedly taking place at Trafalgar Sports Park in Georgetown. Fun fact: this Netflix show is actually based on a comic book that My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way had written.

It seems like Ontario is filled with superheroes right now. Anna Diop who plays Starfire on DC's Titans was just spotted in downtown Toronto.
