One Of Canada's Most Well-Known Anti-Maskers Just Got Arrested For Assaulting A Cop

He turned himself in to TPS on Thursday.

Staff Writer

Chris Saccoccia, better known as the prominent Canadian anti-masker Chris Sky, has been arrested in Toronto.

According to a press release, Saccoccia was arrested by Toronto Police on Thursday, May 20, and charged with three counts of uttering death threats, assaulting a police officer, and dangerous operation of a conveyance.

Police allege Saccoccia threatened to shoot a member of the public and several politicians while on a phone call on May 12 — an incident which was then reported to the police.

When the cops attempted to confront Saccoccia at an address in York, TPS says he escaped in his car and "drove directly" at a cop, who had to dive out of the way, before speeding away from officers.

Police say Saccoccia turned himself into a police station on Thursday, and he's expected to appear in court the same day.
