A third Durham College student, who has not yet been on campus, has recently tested positive for COVID-19.

"We hope this student recovers quickly and we look forward to welcoming them back to campus once it is safe to do so," wrote Lovisa.

All three students have not yet visited the campus, meaning the risk of on-campus transmission remains low.

This announcement follows the recent news of an outbreak at Western University, in which 28 students have now been infected.
