With winter fast approaching, Doug Ford is now asking everyone in Ontario to go and get their flu shots.

In fact, the premier is now saying that he will not get his shot until everyone else in the province has gotten theirs.

When asked about the supply of the vaccine on Friday, Ford stated that 4.6 million have been distributed across the province so far.

I'm waiting until everyone has theirs and once they have it, I'll be in line as well.

In order to ensure that there is enough of the vaccine to go around, the premier promises that he will wait for his turn.

"I want to encourage everyone to go get a flu shot," Ford stated on Friday.

"I will give you a commitment, I know it's small [...] but until every single person in this province, every single senior has a flu shot, I'm not jumping the line. I will wait until everyone has it and then I will get mine."

Ford compared the move to back when he refused to get a haircut during the first round of closures. "It's almost like the haircut, I'm waiting."

Before heading out to your local pharmacy or doctor's office to get your vaccine, Ford warns that you should call ahead to make sure it is in stock.
