Actor, director and writer Finn Wolfhard, most famous for his role as Mike Wheeler on the hit Netflix show Stranger Things, was spotted in a popular Toronto restaurant where he enjoyed one of the city's best Thai food.

Wolfhard was in town to promote the film Hell of a Summer, which he wrote and directed with his friend Billy Bryk and it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

However, between acting, directing and promoting his work, he, just like all of us regular non-famous people, also needs to eat.

The restaurant posted a picture of the star on Instagram on September 9, where Wolfhard was spotted at PAI, a Thai restaurant located at 18 Duncan Street, which is often included among the best spots in Toronto for Thai food.

A spokesperson from the restaurant told Narcity that the actor and emerging filmmaker "really enjoyed the pork skewers" as well as the "whole Northern Thai platter."

The latter of which comes with, according to their menu, "deep-fried Grabong squash fritters, Moo Ping barbecue pork skewers, [and] Northern laab salad," as well as a "Northern Thai sausage served with tomato-pork relish and sticky rice."

The star also apparently enjoyed the restaurant's chocolate sorbet, which is a collaboration product between the restaurant and Soma Chocolate.

The meal was so good that, according to the restaurant, the actor actually "ended up coming back again a couple days later."

And before you worry that the Canadian-born film star is getting too big for his britches, according to the restaurant, Wolfhard "was very down to earth and amazing with all of our staff."

The real stranger thing would be him being rude!

And that isn't the only Toronto food spot that the writer and directors of Hell of a Summer recommend, with them shouting out their favourite shawarma place in the east end of Toronto on the TIFF red carpet.
