The long weekend is here, and you can finally turn off your alarm and enjoy an extra morning of sleep.

Many places will be closed on Victoria Day so everyone can enjoy the holiday, and here's what will be open and closed around Toronto.

What major retailers will be open on Monday?

While many stores and businesses will be closed this holiday Monday, you'll still be able to shop at some major retailers. Select locations of Loblaws, Metro, Sobeys, Whole Foods, and Longo's will be open for your grocery needs.

You'll also be able to purchase alcohol from select Beer Store and Wine Rack locations.

Retailers including Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall, Dollarama, Walmart, Canadian Tire, Indigo, and Home Depot will have some stores open on the holiday Monday.

What else will be open?

Aside from retailers, some outdoor amenities such as golf courses, driving ranges such as The Docks Driving Range, and tennis courts will be open.

Parks such as Rouge National Urban Park are open to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

Go Transit and the TTC will operate on holiday schedules, as will the Centre Island Ferry.

What will be closed?

Get your shopping done in advance because the LCBO and Costco will be closed on Monday. Malls including Sherway Gardens, Yorkdale Mall and Dufferin Mall will also be closed on this day.

Banks, public libraries, Canada Post and municipal buildings will not be operating on Victoria Day, and the Toronto Botanical Gardens will be closed.
