John Tory Ripped The Presidential Debate To Shreds & Thought It Was Absolutely Terrible

It looks like Toronto Mayor John Tory tuned into the U.S. presidential debate last night and didn't like what he saw.

He denounced the spectacle during a live appearance on CityTV's Breakfast Television this morning.

"It was uncivilized, it was rude, it was a bad example for young people, and it was discouraging," he continued.

Tory pointed out that Trump appeared to dominate the discussion, and that even the moderator thought he was "misbehaving" himself.

"It was discouraging because what you have to hope is that you can have a discussion of real big issues we confront now, starting with COVID-19 and working down the list. Racial issues, and other things."

"I try my hardest, as someone in public office, not to behave that way," said the mayor.

"It discourages people and it gives them no hope."
