"It wasn't as enjoyable as I thought it was."

Toronto Raptor's head coach Nick Nurse spilled the beans on bubble life.

In an interview with ESPN's Zach Lowe and Brian Windhorst, Nurse revealed that the experience "wasn't enjoyable" and that it was tough to keep a positive attitude through it all.

He also partially blames bubble life for preventing some key Raptors from playing their best.

I don't think we played nearly to where we played outside of the bubble, let's be honest.

"We had a couple of our key guys not play very well, which stopped us, ultimately, from playing our best," said Nurse.

"I think that we were doing everything we could to kinda get out of the bed on the right side of the bed and really positive talk and it seemed like it was OK," he began.

"But then once I got out, kinda looking back on it, it wasn't as enjoyable as I thought it was," said Nurse.

The Raptors were eliminated by the Boston Celtics in a nail-biting Game 7, with a final score of 92-87.

And, thankfully, Nick Nurse isn't leaving the team any time soon, thanks to his high-paying contract extension.
