Younger Ontarians Now Make Up 70% Of The Province's COVID-19 Cases

The province has released the number of new Ontario COVID-19 cases on Thursday, and nearly 300 have been reported.

According to Health Minister, Christine Elliott, the vast majority of the 293 new cases are those under the age of 40.

In fact, 70% of all new cases were reported in younger adults. 

"Locally, there are 85 new cases in Toronto with 63 in Peel and 39 in Ottawa," she wrote.
