Indoor & Outdoor Gathering Limits Have Just Gotten So Much Bigger In Ontario

Indoor & Outdoor Gathering Limits Are About To Get So Much Bigger ...

Ontario Editor

Ontario officially moved into step three of the reopening plan at 12:01 a.m. on July 16 and so many changes have now come into effect.

You're going to want to call up your friends because the government has during step three and they are so much bigger.

According to a press release, outdoor social gatherings will allow up to 100 people in step three, while indoor gatherings will be maxed at 25 people.

This is a huge increase from the 25 people outdoor gathering limit and the five people indoor gathering limit that the province has seen in step two.

On top of this, indoor dining will be opening its doors and there will be no limit to the number of people who can sit at a table together, so you no longer have to choose only five friends to get drinks with.

If you're heading out to a concert or other events, you can also expect to see a few more people. Indoor concert venues, cinemas, and theatres are allowed to operate at 50% capacity or 1,000 people, whichever is less.

Outdoor concerts can operate at a 75% capacity, with a max of 5,000 people for unseated events and 15,000 people for fixed seating events.
