The OPP Want Answers After A Car Was Totally Crushed On The Highway (PHOTO)

Were you near the Queen Elizabeth Way during the early hours? The Ontario Provincial Police Highway Safety Division is searching for witnesses of a pretty big accident, during which one car was totally crushed.

Officials say a Kia SUV was travelling Toronto-bound at high speeds on the highway, just after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred near Hurontario Street, and police are searching for witnesses who may have information about what happened. Charges are pending, officials explained.

Police report only minor injuries to those involved in the accident.

In a follow-up note on Twitter, OPP confirmed that the other vehicle was disabled as a result of the crash, and the driver remained at the scene.
