Parts Of Ontario Will Be Hit With Snow & Chilly Temperatures This Week

It's time to bust out your coat. 🥶

It's time to pull out your winter jackets. Ontario's weather forecast is calling for snow and chilly temperatures this week.

Winter is coming, again. According to The Weather Network, an approaching cold front will push out the warm weather we have been experiencing on Thursday.

Before you start pulling out your hats and mitts, snow is only expected in the northern parts of the province.

Some flakes are expected to touch down between Thursday and Friday.

While southern Ontario can leave their shovels in their sheds, it will still feel a bit chilly. For example, Toronto is forecast to be only 13 C on Saturday

The sudden drop in temperature isn't likely to signal an early winter.

TWN reports that October's weather will go back to being seasonal after this week.

"Temperatures will be a few degrees below seasonal for the first several days of October. However, a milder pattern should return during the second week of October," stated Dr. Doug Gillham, TWN meteorologist.

The province's official fall forecast predicted that most regions are in for a sunny and warm fall this year.
