Before the game started, Justin Trudeau tweeted his congratulations to the Toronto Raptors' all-female broadcast team and called them "an impressive crew."

It was a historic broadcast because women were in every single on-air role for the call of the game against the Denver Nuggets on March 24.

Trudeau congratulated Amy Audibert, Kate Beirness, Kayla Grey, Kia Nurse and Meghan McPeak on making history.

He said that it's "going to mean a lot to so many young girls across the country."

Even though the Raptors enjoyed a 135-111 win, Kyle Lowry looked rather emotional as he walked off the court after the game.
