Contributor

Toronto beaches have opened up and the crowds are back with them! Grab your summer read and a beach buddy and head off to one of these secret beaches in Toronto. Finding a quiet spot to soak up the sun while avoiding the crowds isn't always easy, so we made a list of the best serene spots in the GTA.

With much of Ontario heading into Phase 3, and Toronto due to follow suit soon, many are seeking quiet places to avoid coming in close contact with others. Bars and restaurants may make it hard to maintain 2 meters distance — but beaches do not! There are a ton of spots located here in the GTA that allow you to socially distance while catching some rays.

Whether you’re looking for scenic views, dog-friendly locales, or your newest summer hang-out spot, we’ve got you covered.
