You Can See Dark Blooms & A Tiny Donkey At This Enchanting Sunflower Festival Near Toronto

It opens this week!

Lead Writer, Travel

Sunflower season is here, and this field might just be the cutest spot you can visit.

The Fieldstone Barn in Elora is hosting its second-ever Sunflower Festival beginning August 6, and you can explore trails through the blooms, snap some Insta-worthy photos, grab some snacks from the food trucks, and even hang out with a miniature donkey.

The 17-acre farm boasts around 20 different sunflower varieties including nearly black blooms called Moulin Rouge and white blooms called Moon Shadow.

There are tons of photo ops scattered throughout the farm such as a giant 'LOVE' sign, retro couch, swing, vintage wagons, and more.

Chip the miniature donkey from Longears Celebraytions will be visiting the fields on August 7 and 8, and he may even show off a couple of his tricks.

The farm is also home to four corn mazes as well as a new glamping experience, and more fall-themed events are in the works.

The sunflower festival is open to the public on weekends and can be booked for private tours during the week, so get ready to step into golden fields this summer.
