If you're looking to move to a new Toronto apartment, you might be able to find some perks.

As more residents leave the 6ix for homes outside the city, landlords are now handing out incentives to convince you to stay.

Some property managers are now offering residents periods of free rent to occupy empty units.

In fact, some buildings are even throwing in gift cards to convince you to choose their unit.

One location on Bathurst is currently offering one month of free rent and a $500 visa gift card if you move in this month.

While 245 Howland Ave. will give you a full two months of free rent on select units.

On top of this, many neighbourhoods in the 6ix are seeing a massive drop in rent over the past year.

Back in December, it was reported that some spots had seen rent drop more than $500 since 2019.
