We now finally know the Toronto Blue Jays schedule for starting the shortened season, and it begins with a pair of exhibition games in Boston.

The Jays will travel to Fenway Park for a pair of contests on July 21 and July 22 before the MLB's shortened season officially restarts a couple of days later.

After facing off against the Red Sox in Massachusetts, the Jays will head to Tampa, Fla. to face the Tampa Bay Rays on July 24 in their official season opener.

That will see the team return to the Sunshine State, where COVID-19 cases have been spiking in recent weeks, after they finally returned to Toronto last week.

The team previously held training camp in Dunedin, Fla., before an outbreak of COVID-19 infections shut down operations late last month. On Thursday, reports said Jays players will actually face a huge fine and potential jail time if they leave the team's bubble.
