CBC reports that the flames coming from the truck forced the operator to dump all of its contents right onto Simcoe Street.

Crews then had to clean up the garbage that was scattered all over the road.

Per CBC, Adelaide has reopened eastbound. Toronto Police report that there are no injuries.

Footage of the burning vehicle has been posted online showing thick smoke and high flames clearly visible.
