Police are on scene and Toronto schools are in lockdown after reports of a drive-by shooting near Lawrence Ave. W. and Jane St. this morning. 

According to police, at 9:17 a.m. officers arrived in the area after reports that someone was lying on the street.

Upon arriving, officers discovered a deceased adult male.

Police are on scene investigating, schools in lockdown in the area.

At 9:33 a.m. officers state that schools in the area have been put in lockdown as the incident is being investigated. 

C. R. Marchant Middle School, Weston Collegiate Institute and Weston Memorial Junior Public School have all been affected, reports CP24. 

The two suspects are said to be wearing face coverings. 

They were last seen driving eastbound in a late model four-door sedan. 

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
