Toronto's Speed Cameras Issued Over 50K Fines & These Are The Most Ticketed Streets

Toronto's Speed Enforcement devices are catching thousands of reckless drivers in the act.

According to the City of Toronto, the cameras issued a whopping 53,090 tickets between July 6 and November 30, 2020.

5,404 Tickets issued at Renforth Drive near Lafferty Street

The data also revealed the city's most ticketed streets across the 6ix. 

Renforth Drive near Lafferty Street currently sits at the top of the list with 5,404 fines issued.

It seems that speeders have been a problem in this area since these tickets amount to 10% of all fines given. 

Caledonia Road north of Rogers Road comes in second place with 4,267 tickets issued. 

Followed by Bicknell Avenue south of Avon Drive with 4,010. 

However, other streets seemed to be tamer than others. 

Prospect Street east of Ontario Street saw the fewest tickets with only 10.

Fifty Toronto speed cameras were initially placed in various locations across the city back in July 2020.
