Are you dreaming of going to paradise? You don't have to go far. Canada's "little Hawaii" in B.C. has breathtaking white sand beaches and crystal clear water.

Unlike an expensive flight to Honolulu, at this beach, no passport is required. Tribune Bay Beach is on Hornby Island, located four hours and 45 minutes from Vancouver.

Within this province, we have no shortage of gorgeous waterfront. So you might be wondering what makes this spot worth the drive and the ferry rides.

Once you see it in person, you'll understand why it is called "little Hawaii." There's close to 1 kilometre of white sand and sparkling aquamarine water.

It's a dreamy spot with pristine water as far as the eye can see. The waves here are the exact shade you'd expect around a tropical island.

Standing on the sand, you'll quickly forget you're still in Canada. Honestly, it's so stunning when you post photos, your friends might not believe you're still in the country.

Plus, if you're someone who hates freezing water, you'll be in heaven. The salt water is delightfully warm, unlike many nearby icy swimming holes.

It's where you'll want to spend your time frolicking on the sand and splashing in the water.

The area is perfect for swimming. Instead of a sharp drop-off, it's shallow with a gradual incline so that you can walk right in.

The only thing it's missing is palm trees but it has something even better.

Right along the coast, you'll find colourful wildflowers blooming when the weather is warm.

Before you leave, you'll also want to go for a walk along the bay. There, you'll be able to find unique sandstone pillars too.

It's time to start planning your road trip — tan lines and fun memories with friends await.
