B.C. is home to the longest pier in Canada, and it becomes even more magical during the holiday months, as it dazzles under the power of over 50,000 lights.

Wander through a glowing tunnel, take a photo by the 20-foot tree, or walk far out above the water on the pier.

White Rock is only 40 minutes outside of Vancouver but the small waterfront city is bustling with its own great restaurants, shops, and holiday fun.

Bright Walk in White Rock is when the waterfront lights up for the month of December, running from December 7, 2024, to January 12, 2025.

You'll feel like you've been transported into a holiday movie, with the lights displays, small-town charm, and wintry vibe.

Usually, you can expect some fun holiday events to go along with the twinkling lights, like a Santa appearance, live music, and a tree lighting.

The White Rock Pier isn't just a hit during the holidays though, and it's worth walking along the pier that stretches out far into the ocean any time of year. As Canada's longest pier, it's a cool experience to visit and White Rock is the perfect place to go for a day outside of Vancouver that's not too far.
