The first two episodes of season 2 of The Last Of Us have dropped, and they've put B.C. on full display. While last season was filmed in Alberta, the crew of the popular HBO series headed over to B.C. for the latest one.

The Last Of Us transformed Vancouver's city street into the apocalyptic world of the show — which has now picked up years after Joel (played by Pedro Pascal) and Ellie's (played by Bella Ramsey) season 1 journey.

The stunning landscapes of Vancouver and the surrounding area are the backdrop for the action this season, with a mix of urban landscape and untamed wilderness on display.

If you've been watching and are curious where exactly the scenes take place, here are some of the biggest filming locations of episode one and two, according to Destination Vancouver.

The Last Of Us — Season 2, Episode 1 filming locations

Britannia Beach, Squamish – You'll notice most of the episode takes place in a town that the crew built in Squamish. Just an hour outside of Vancouver this stunning place was the perfect backdrop to act as Jackson, Wyoming.

New Westminister – The Town Hall in New Westminster made an appearance in the first episode.

Padova, Kamloops – The abandoned grocery store in the episode was actually a building in Kamloops.

The Last Of Us — Season 2, Episode 2 filming locations

Mission — The lodge in episode two, where Abby is hiding out, was filmed in Mission. The little town is around an hour and 30 minutes from Vancouver.

Britannia Mine Museum — This popular tourist attraction was used for this episode, as the abandoned mine where Joel and Abby reunited with Dina.

So far lots of the season has been filmed pretty close to Vancouver, and we're excited to see where it takes us next week!
