This tiny BC town with coastal beauty and sandy beaches was named among the best to live in

A vacation that you'll never want to leave. 🌊

This small town is nestled on the coast of an island in B.C. — a community woven into the extraordinary nature of the area. Cozy cafes and little shops sit along a picturesque waterfront, framed by lush forest and the jagged rocks of the shoreline.

Ucluelet is overlooked sometimes, being just 30 minutes down the road from the world-famous beach town of Tofino. With a more low-key feel to it and less crowds though, it's a hidden gem with equal beauty.

Recently on the Narcity Facebook Page the small town was named among the best places to live in, in B.C. Its quaint atmosphere and access to untamed wilderness, it's become a getaway from some a a dream place to call home for many.

Ucluelet is on the west coast of Vancouver Island, about four hours away from Victoria. It's as cozy as it gets, with a salty breeze blowing through the small-town streets and local shops, breweries and restaurants packed into the little area. Boats bob in the calm harbour waters, and just beyond waves crash onto the black rocks of the coastline.

Hugging that coast is thick rainforest, where you'll find ancient trees and vibrant greenery at every turn. The Rainforest Trail is perfect for exploring the unique forest.

Nearby are the sandy beaches which the area is known for, and the surfing that goes hand-in-hand with them.

They're scattered around, but Wickaninnish Beach or Long Beach are go-tos nearby — offering some of the most spectacular ocean vistas and soft sand.

This place is as special as it gets, but if you visit, be warned – it'll tempt you to move.
