Tucked away in a breathtaking national parks sits this little town in B.C. It's an underrated destination, that rivals the beauty of other tourist hot spots like Banff, and is the perfect spot to go to explore the Canadian Rockies.

The cozy town is small, but welcoming with restaurants and accommodations Less than 200 people live here, so you'll get a window into a tight-knit community, with mountain town vibes.

The real intrigue of a visit here is exploring the surrounding park. National Geographic dubbed Feild a "waterfall wonderland in Yoho National Park" which hints at some of the incredible natural wonders within.

Takakkaw Falls is the most famous one here, as the second tallest waterfall in all of Canada. Then theres Twin Falls and Laughing Falls too, plus endless trails to other spectacular park features.

Within the park is also Yoho Valley Road, which Parks Canada called one of the "most beautiful roads in Canada." It makes it so you don't have to even leave the car to see some of the stunning nature in the park. You'll drive past wide valleys, mountain peaks, and rushing rivers along the 14-kilometre journey.

It's worth going deeper into nature, though — hiking the trails, getting out on the lakes, or even mountain biking.

While it's nestled in the mountains of B.C., Field is just an hour from Banff, Alberta. It makes it easy to explore the more popular areas like Lake Louise, the town of Banff, and Canmore — while still avoiding the crowds when you want to. Plus, you avoid the steeper prices of the more busy destinations.

Yoho National Park in BC is one of the most beautiful places in all of Canada 🫶 Located near the town of Golden, you can see emerald lakes, rushing waterfalls, magnificent mountains, natural rock bridges and more all in one national park. Here’s how you can spend a day exploring some of the best spots in Yoho National Park: 1. Wapta Falls 2. Emerald Lake 3. Natural Bridge 4. Takkawaw Falls If you have additional time, I’d recommend adding on the hike to Sherbrooke Lake, another breathtakingly blue lake. As always, please be respectful when visiting, follow all park rules and leave no trace. @Tourism Golden @Destination British Columbia #GoldenBC #GoldenRules #ParksCanada #exploreBC #canadianrockies #kootenayrockies #britishcolumbia #travel #travelblogger #travelinfluencer #bccanada #explorecanada #tiktokcanada #canadablogger #canada #onlyincanada #canadalife #beautifulbc #travelinfluencer #beautifuldestinations #canadacreator #vancouvercreator
