Victoria Police Warn That A Massive Python Is On The Loose & It's Been Missing For Weeks
Police in B.C. had to put out an unusual warning about a different kind of predator — somewhere in Victoria, a ball python is on the loose.
On Monday, August 4, they shared with the public that a four-foot five ball python has been missing near the 200-block of Bay street for weeks.
According to police, they were not aware that it was missing until just now but it's been on the lam since July 2.
If you come across this constrictor snake, let the police know on their non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654, but hopefully, since animal control is "aware of the incident," the pet will be found.

This public warning comes just one day after the same police service found a used needle dangerously tied to a railing in a park.
