Zoom Is Ending Call Length Caps As Provinces Tell Canadians Not To Gather For The Holidays
With the Zoom time limit removed for the holidays, virtual celebrations can last longer and this comes as provinces are telling Canadians not to gather in person this year.
All free Zoom accounts will have the 40-minute limit removed for calls all around the world on the last day of Hanukkah, the last day of Kwanzaa, Christmas Eve and Day, and New Year's Eve and Day.

Canadians can have unlimited meetings from 10:00 a.m. ET on December 17 to 6:00 a.m. ET on December 19 for the end of Hanukkah.
The time limit will also be removed from 10:00 a.m. ET on December 23 to 6:00 a.m. ET on December 26 for Christmas.
Then it will happen again from 10:00 a.m. ET on December 30 to 6:00 a.m. on January 2 for New Year's Eve and Day along with the last day of Kwanzaa.
You don't have to do anything to get the time limit removed, it will happen automatically during those times.
This comes as Canada is dealing with the second wave of COVID-19 and provinces like Ontario and Quebec are telling people to only spend time with those in their households for the holidays.
Alberta even put out a video to stop people from gathering that personifies COVID-19 and how it loves the holidays.
