Atlanta residents will be able to order grub from their favorite Black-owned restaurants starting tomorrow with a new app called Black and Mobile.

The app was originally set to launch on July 18 but will now go live Tuesday, July 21st. This is the app's third location following services started in Detroit earlier this year. The service was first introduced in Philidelphia in 2017 by 25-year-old David Cabello.

...what I really wanted to do was help Black-owned restaurants and businesses in my community.

As of the launch, the restaurants that are partnering with the app include Wadada, Tastebuddz ATL, D Cafe and Catering, Fin and Feathers, and Fireside Jamaican Restaurant.

The company is hiring for drivers in the Atlanta area and says that you can get paid $15-$25 per hour—and you get to keep 100% of the tips.

For now, the delivery radius is within the perimeter of the city of Atlanta up to 6 miles from the restaurant you order from for the first week, but the business is hoping to expand their area within the first month of launch.
