Ontario has many beautiful small towns, from waterfront villages to historic gems. This storybook town is perched on the shores of a bay and, according to locals, is a dream spot to move to.

On Narcity Canada's Facebook page, we asked readers to share which Ontario town they would love to relocate to. This beautiful old-world town was one of the destinations mentioned.

Picton is a cozy village in beautiful Prince Edward County. Its historic main street is dotted with quaint local shops and cafes, making you feel like you've stepped into a fairy tale.

You can enjoy a quieter pace of life, strolling through flower-lined streets and sipping lattes on sunny patios.

The town is located a short distance from beautiful Sandbanks Provincial Park, which boasts three white-sand beaches and crystal-blue waters. You can spend your days lounging on the silky shores and swimming in the turquoise waves.

The County is known for its wine scene and is home to many vineyards nestled amidst the rolling countryside. You can also enjoy cute country markets and farms throughout the area.

According to The County website, the area is home to "outstanding natural beauty surrounded by Lake Ontario, fresh farm-to-table cuisine and Ontario's fastest growing wine and craft beer region," allowing for a "unique and unmatched quality of life."

If you're considering moving, locals say that Picton is a dream spot to live.
