Burger King Has New KD Bites & They're Deep-Fried Cheesy Canadian Goodness

Ketchup or no ketchup?
Contributor

Canadians and Kraft Dinner go together like, well, macaroni and cheese. Now we'll have another way to enjoy the classic treat from the blue box. Burger King KD bites have just launched in Canada, and they're the mouthwatering lockdown snack we've all been waiting for.

These delicious bites of cheesy goodness could be considered the collab of the year.

While there are plenty of ways to enjoy Kraft Dinner (some like it with ketchup, some like it plain), enjoying it in bite-size nuggets might become everyone's new favourite.

It's hard to improve on the perfection that is Kraft Dinner, but it looks like these bites may have just done it.

While a regular bowl of KD can give you a major nostalgia trip (on top of being delicious), these bites add another textural level with their crispy coating.

What makes them even better is that you can obviously dip them in ketchup for an even more classically Canadian flavour.

If the summer sun wasn't tempting you to finally get out of the house for a little bit, then maybe these delicious, cheesy treats will do the trick.

Right now at Burger King, you can get a pack of six tasty bites as a side dish with your meal, or you can enjoy them on their own.

"With snacking occasions on the rise, we saw an opportunity to bring these two iconic brands together to give our KD fans a new and delicious way to enjoy their favourite, one-of-a-kind cheesy taste in an ultimate snacking, bite-size format," Daniel Gotlib, Associate Director, Brand Building & Innovation, Kraft Heinz Canada said in a news release.

There are now plenty of great summer snacks and treats that Canadians can get out and enjoy.

In addition to the KD Bites, Burger King also gives you the chance to cool off with $1 soft-serve cones.

Of course, if you're feeling even hungrier, you could always go for some Kraft Dinner Poutine.
