A fatal stabbing is the third of the series.

Three deaths occurred in just 24 hours in Calgary and police are deeming all of them "suspicious." Homicide investigators have their hands full following the three suspicious deaths. In the most recent event, police found a body on a road in the southeast community of Lynnwood early Tuesday, September 22.

The victim was a guy in his 20s who was found with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police release.

It seems like police think the victim's roommate may be involved and they are asking the public for help finding him.

His name is  Eddy Nakasenh-Bandasak and he's described as having dark features, a heavy build and stands at about five-foot-five, according to a police release.

Calgary Police were also called to two other suspicious deaths the day before, on Monday, September 21.

At 1:30 p.m. officers responded to reports of a shooting in the northeast community of Falconridge. When they got there, they found a 32-year-old man dead inside a nearby home.

Later that afternoon, emergency crews were called to another incident in the northeast where a man was in medical distress on the steps of a home. Crews tried to save the victim but the 35-year-old man died on-scene.

Calgary Police haven't linked the three investigations.

"It is unusual for there to be three suspicious deaths in less than 24 hours but, while it is still early in all the investigations, there is no indication at this time that the cases are connected," said police.

As of now, police aren't calling the deaths homicides. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner doesn't rule a death a homicide until the autopsies are done, according to a police release.

All three victims are scheduled for autopsies this week, and their identities won't be released until afterwards.

If all three incidents are homicides, that will bump us up to 27 homicides in the city this year.

Anyone with information on any of the incidents is encouraged to contact Calgary Police.

The best way to contact CPS is either the homicide tip line at (403)428-8877, the non-emergency line at (403)266-1234 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
