Calgary's Biggest Corn Maze Is Open Now & It's The Cutest End Of Summer Date

Getting lost here is romantic. 🌽
Staff Writer

Are counting down the days until pumpkin spice season begins? Then you'll want to check out this spot where you can get your fall vibes early. Calgary's largest corn maze is 11-acres of fun and it's perfect for your next date night.

A quick 25-minute drive outside of the city is Calgary Farmyard, where you can feel like a kid again. Without question, you'll want to visit their vast sunflower field and sprawling corn labyrinth.

Editor's Choice: This Under-The-Radar Small Town In Alberta Has Major European Vibes

This year the corn maze will be open from Friday, July 31 until late October and has an extra special design dedicated to front line workers.

It features the message "real heroes," with the depiction of three individuals wearing masks.

One thing is for sure; you should be prepared to get lost often. Within the cornfield, there are four kilometres of paths to navigate.

With all the walls looking the same, it will be a real challenge to determine which way to go every time the path splits. Do you go right or left?

Choose wrong, and you might find yourself heading right back to the start.

While walking through, make sure to keep a lookout for the viewing platforms. They will be helpful as you can get an aerial view to find out which direction you need to head to reach the finish.

If you are searching for a memorable date idea, this farm could be perfect.

A visit costs the same as a movie but provides so many more hours of fun.

According to Calgary Farmyard, guests spend an average of four hours trying out all the different activities.

Your $16.95 admission ticket includes over 30 attractions, including the 2.5-acre sunflowers field, 11-acre corn maze, and seeing cute barnyard animals petting zoo.

One-day tickets are available online, so make sure to snatch up two to surprise your bae.
