6 Calgary Men In Their 20s Have Been Charged With Violent BC Kidnapping

The Victoria police have announced that six men have been charged with kidnapping in Victoria, B.C. 

On Monday, September 7, police were initially called to a multi-unit residential building for the report of a loud domestic disturbance, according to a news release. They later learned that a man was assaulted with a weapon and kidnapped from the suite by six Calgary residents.

Investigators believed this to be a targeted incident. 


Victoria Police

The victim was taken outside of Victoria in a vehicle and during the transport, the men continued to assault him with weapons. 

After stopping the vehicle, the victim was able to escape and make it to a safe location to call the police.

During the next two days, 27-year-old Miles Anton Brown, 28-year-old William Ricardo Miranda, 24-year-old Steven Claude Pellerin, 28-year-old Anthony Tootoosis, 27-year-old Jeff Robert McDonald, and 26-year-old Jenner Boguen were each charged with one count of kidnapping and one count of assault with a weapon.
