An Albertan Car Thief Chased By Police Got Trapped In An Elementary School Vent

One suspect got stuck in a vent and had to be brought to the hospital after a Red Deer police chase came to a strange conclusion. 

According to CBC News, RCMP chased a man onto the roof of Mountview School on Saturday, August 22.

He was seriously injured and was taken to hospital for emergency medical treatment.

He tried to break into the building using a ceiling vent but got stuck; the man was eventually found by a police canine unit.

The 28-year-old was wanted after police saw him and an accomplice riding in a stolen car.

His 23-year-old partner had already been taken into custody; charges are pending as police continue their investigation.
