Costco Canada's new flyer this week has got some serious grocery deals and savings, so we couldn't resist checking how the wholesale giant's prices stack up against other major Canadian discount stores.

From coffee and cheese to toilet paper and freezer bags, we crunched the numbers to see where you'll get the best bang for your buck between Costco and other discount chains like Walmart, Food Basics and No Frills, so you don't have to.

For each item, we made sure to find the best-value price available at every store, meaning we compared value sizes where available and cashed in on any sales or discounts that are on right now. Unsurprisingly, all of these Costco flyer deals still came out on top as the cheapest options — provided you're willing to buy in bulk, that is.

Whether you're stocking up on Charmin or treating yourself to some Ferrero Rocher for the holidays, here are 11 grocery deals from the latest Costco flyer that could help you save big from now until November 10 — and how they stack up.

While we didn't find these at No Frills or Food Basics, Loblaws did have them at a whopping $3.75 per 100 g. No Frills price: $7.99 (regularly $11.99) for 8 × 168 sheets

Calculating toilet paper prices can feel like calculating moon landing angles, with all the different roll sizes that claim to actually be the equivalent of somewhere between two and two hundred regular rolls — but we got you. If you break down the price per hundred sheets, you may not be surprised to find out that even with Charmin on sale everywhere, Costco still has the best deal at $0.40 per 100 sheets. Food Basics' price per 100 sheets comes in at around $0.52, Walmart at $0.56 and No Frills at $0.59.
