If you're looking to switch up your spending habits and add something new to your shopping list, there are a bunch of Costco Canada hidden gems that some Canadians swear by but that you might not know about.

Almost 700 people responded to a survey put out on Instagram by Costco Finds Canada on behalf of Narcity about what they buy the most at Costco and quite a few people shared truly unique items that are essential when they go shopping at the wholesale retailer.

Here are seven of those items!

Books

Move over Indigo, there's a new bookstore in town. A few select respondents said that when they're at Costco, books are one of their most purchased items.

Tech Items

When you think of Costco, tech is probably not the first thing that comes to mind. However, one person said that those items are what they buy most often when shopping there.

Fresh Flowers

Whether you're buying them for yourself or for someone else, Canadian Costco shoppers swear by the wholesale retailer's fresh flowers.

Margarita Mix

You can buy margarita mix at a Costco Business Centre if — like one of our survey participants — you're looking to get everything you need for dinner and drinks while shopping.

Lasagna

One shopper said Costco's frozen lasagna is one of their must-buy items at the store. If you don't want to spend two or three hours making a massive lasagna from scratch, it might be worth checking out!

Lint Rollers

Lint rollers are apparently a must-have for one respondent when they head out for a shop. It might not be what Costco is most known for, but good to know someone's buying them!

Fig Bars

While a lot of people responded that croissants are a must-have when they go to Costco, a few went against the grain and said that fig bars are one of the items they buy all the time. Whatever floats your boat!
