You might think that you're always getting a better price with Kirkland Signature products at Costco.
But a few Great Value items at Walmart and No Name and President's Choice products at Loblaws are actually cheaper options.
Shopping for each retailer's value brand is less expensive than getting name-brand items.
But prices for those value brand products vary between stores.
So, here are nine Kirkland products at Costco Canada that you can get for cheaper with Great Value at Walmart Canada and No Name and President's Choice at Loblaws Canada.
Frozen berry blend

You can get a two-kilogram bag of Kirkland Signature frozen three-berry blend for $16.99 at Costco. It comes with raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.
That's a cost of $0.84 per 100 grams.
You can get a 600-gram bag of Great Value frozen four-berry blend for $4.44 at Walmart. It comes with raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries.
That's $0.74 per 100 grams.
So, the Great Value item is $0.10 cheaper per 100 grams than the Kirkland Signature product.
Plus, you get more variety at Walmart because it's a four-berry blend, not a three-berry blend like at Costco.
Natural peanut butter
