The Canada Revenue Agency — more commonly known as the CRA — is hiring for positions in Ontario.

With these CRA jobs, you would work as an analyst and earn up to $80,000 a year.

There are various opportunities with the CRA GeoHub, a new team that focuses on geospatial analytics and research, available now.

It's part of the agency's Research and Innovation Lab and works to develop new geospatial tools and capabilities that support services and program delivery for Canadians.

These are the available jobs at the CRA GeoHub:

  • Junior Quantitative Analyst
  • Intermediate Quantitative Analyst
  • Quantitative Analyst

The government of Canada jobs with the federal revenue service are being hired for in the National Capital Region (Ottawa–Gatineau) but some of the work can be done virtually.

CRA employees are required to work on-site for at least two days per week as part of this hybrid work arrangement.

The CRA salary for the analyst positions is from $67,619 to $80,124 a year.

People living in Canada and Canadian citizens and permanent residents living abroad can apply.

To get hired for these high-paying jobs, you need a degree from a post-secondary institution with a specialization in economics, sociology, statistics, geography, GIS, or geomatics.

You must have experience using one or more of these advanced programming languages or software packages to extract, manipulate and analyze data:

  • Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • R
  • Python
  • ArcGIS Pro
  • QGIS
  • other comparable programming languages or statistical software

Also, experience applying spatial operations and analytical concepts to analyze spatial data or information and experience using common geospatial data formats is required.
