The Health Canada salary for these jobs ranges from $81,513 to $92,653 a year.

You must have a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution specializing in nursing, nursing administration, nursing education or a specialty relevant to the position.

A certificate or diploma in occupational health nursing from a recognized post-secondary institution is acceptable too.

To get hired, you need to be eligible for registration as a registered nurse in a Canadian province or territory as well.

You must have one year of experience as a registered nurse in occupational health assessments or disability management services and experience in at least two of these occupational health services:

  • immunizations
  • Tuberculin Skin Tests (TSTs)
  • occupational audiometry
  • occupational spirometry
