An Edmonton Manhole Cover Got Blown Off By An Enormous Gush Of Water Yesterday (VIDEO)

A wild sight was caught on camera on Thursday, July 16 that showed an Edmonton manhole cover being blown off. 

In a video posted online, you can see tons of water gushing out from the manhole and shooting incredibly high into the air.

On Thursday, CTV News was calling for a risk of rainfall in the afternoon and early evening. 

Severe storms with large hail were also expected to take place mainly in south Edmonton. 

The City of Edmonton Twitter account wrote that crews were called that evening to deal with road flooding at an undisclosed location.
