A Furious Walmart Shopper In BC Full-On Assaulted An Employee When Asked To Wear A Mask
He was arrested for "assault and mischief."
Police in Dawson Creek rushed to help a B.C. Walmart employee who was being assaulted by an angry customer on Wednesday, November 25.
According to a police release, the customer attacked the employee after being asked to wear a face mask, as required .
A video of the violent interaction has been circulating and was shared by CBC News.
The male suspect (30yrs old) was arrested for assault and mischief and released to attend court at a later date.

In the footage you can see the man in question sitting on top of the employee, hitting them in the face multiple times. A few bystanders shout at him to stop and to get off.
The man yells profanities repeatedly and even stands up to kick the employee at one point. Eventually, he gets off the staff member who starts to crawl away.
Police say the victim's injuries were minor and didn't require immediate medical attention.
The police release concluded by reminding British Columbians that masks are mandatory in all public indoor spaces.
While it's an individual's choice not to wear a mask, they are choosing not to attend indoor public spaces as well.
