It's 2020 and everything is weird. Alberta just dropped a website called "COVID Loves” that personifies the novel coronavirus and introduces them to the world. “Meet COVID,” it begins. Then, COVID introduces themselves. “I love life! Going to all the places, doing all the things and spreading the fun to everyone. Bring me to your next get-together, I’d love to meet your friends and family.” Editor's Choice: Canadian Cop Is Guilty Of Assault 3 Years After Violently Taking Down A Young Black Woman Not to worry, COVID also tells us what they hate. That includes wearing a mask, sanitizing, social distancing, and the works. You see where this is going, right? Naturally, our new friend COVID loves the holidays and there's even a video to prove it. While the whole thing may seem strange, there is some non-cheeky information on the website, too. In fact, there are myth busters that separate facts from fiction. For example, it turns out you can’t get COVID-19 from a dog licking your face. Apparently, oregano oil, apple cider vinegar, and crystals don’t ward off COVID-19 either, according to the myth buster. The more you know! If you're trying to teach your kids about COVID-19 or your own brain is getting a little boggled from looking at all the numbers, the "COVID Loves" videos might be just the thing for you. Not to worry, there's a second video entitled COVID Loves Parties.
